D Grade Grand Final

Athelstone "Raggies"	vs	Adelaide Uni "Blacks"

THIS IS IT! The D’s took on Henley last week in the Preliminary Final and completely controlled the first half to set up a 5 goal win.

The Blacks will be tough, but as the cliché goes, anything can happen in a Grand Final. They have dominated the comp but we gave them a good run earlier in the season so it is not beyond us. It is good to see the top 2 sides from the minor round up against each other in the big one.

There are some Raggies in good form including Matt Bowman, Andy Roberts, Chris Scott and Ben Cashin. If they are on they will make life tough for the Blacks.

Best of luck to the Raggies, give it all you’ve got, there are no second chances. Send Crossy into retirement with a real celebration.

Get back to the club. Meals are on at 6pm, entertainment by band "Dual Fuel", presentations, AFL semi final.

Presentation Night is Saturday 11th October at 7pm. Tickets are $25 per person including a 3 course meal. Dress is smart with a collared shirt and please, no jeans. Tickets are available at the bar and must be pre-purchased.
