TRIAL GAME vs MENINGIE THIS SATURDAY 23rd MARCH

There are 2 trial games against Meningie this Saturday at Torrens Valley. The B's begin at 12.30, followed by the A's. There will be full canteen, beer booth and bar facilities available. Make a day of it and come along and see the Raggies in their last warm up game before playing host to Scotch OC in round 1 on 6th April at home.

TRIAL GAME vs POORAKA RESULTS

Despite the hot weather policy having to be implemented (breaks every 10 minutes), the Raggies accounted for Pooraka by 4 goals, 11.6 (72) to 6.12 (48). There were some impressive performances including Glenn Molloy (rested after half time), Aaron Blake (up from under 17's and looked good on the wing), Ben Woodroofe on a half forward flank, David Siciliano on the ball, Joseph Duigan in the ruck, Luke Taverner in a forward pocket, Pieter Spencer at CHF, Lester Ross with some good touches, Anthony Pierri kicked 2 from full forward and a number of others putting their hand up. With a host of other A Grade quality players on the injured list to return, it was a promising start to the 2002 campaign.

The B's succumbed in the last quarter after being level at 3 quarter time to lose by 5 goals. There were some pleasing performances from a team comprising B, C and D grade players. With approximately 20 players to return to the A and B grade sides, the performance was encouraging.
